Student Services
YHM Student Services Department serves as community mentors that aid families and their students with navigating school systems for grades K-12, higher education institutions, and career readiness. We understand that nearly 70% of learning happens outside the classroom. YHM Student Services Department works to support student success, growth, and development through community collaboration efforts.
Ways We Work
Informational Sessions
YHM team of professionals and partnering organizations host informational sessions, create toolkits, and offer community support to families concerning health and wellness, policies and systems, college prep, high school equivalent cores, banking, and much more.
Our mission in the YHM Student Services Division is to echo school updates from service areas into the communities to ensure that families stay in the know and are prepared for success.
Student Life Support
College students need support and guidance off-campus. YHM offers free college and career exploration support and mentorship to ensure higher education students stay connected to their college or university, feel confident, and are aware of the many resources available for college students.
YHM developed an Adopt-a-College Student initiative to provide a toolkit of items and resources to encourage college students day-to-day.
Career Exploration
YHM helps to unlock the dreams and goals of students by fostering an environment of research, evaluation, and learning of modern-day work opportunities. We aim to clarify the personal interests, goals, and aspirations of students through long-term life planning.
We work with local organizations to schedule campus and facility tours. YHM Student Services Specialists enjoy helping students unlock their potential.

FREE ONLINE RESOURCES
YHM is passionate about student learners being able to access tutoring and after-school support. We've teamed up with AT&T to offer The Achievery digital learning academy for students K-12. This year-round educational platform is free thanks to AT&T and our supporting partners at the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA).
