Students and their guardians often face extreme anxiety about the uncertainty of their school year. I remember my schools days in elementary and in college. There were days that I felt anxious because I was in the company of unfamiliar faces in different classrooms and schools. However, I found comfortate in the Word of God and am so grateful for the people of God that shared encouraging words and scriptures with me along my journey. 

Now as a parent myself, I am mindful of sharing God's Word with my kiddos and others. I drafted up a list of  scriptures that are sure to guide and inspire your student and family. Keep these handy in your phone or write them down for memory. 

Jeremiah 1:8 (NIV) "Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord."

1 Timothy 4:12 (ESV) - Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

2 Timothy 2:22-26 (AMP) - "22 Run away from youthful lusts—pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those [believers] who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But have nothing to do with foolish and ignorant speculations [useless disputes over unedifying, stupid controversies], since you know that they produce strife and give birth to quarrels. 24 The servant of the Lord must not participate in quarrels, but must be kind to everyone [even-tempered, preserving peace, and he must be], skilled in teaching, patient and tolerant when wronged. 25 He must correct those who are in opposition with courtesy and gentleness in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and be led to the knowledge of the truth [accurately understanding and welcoming it], 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will."

1 Corinthians 10:13 (ESV) - No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Isaiah 40:30-31(MSG) - "Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 1 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) - "Be strong, because God has given us his Spirit. And his Spirit does not cause us to be afraid. Instead, his Spirit causes us to be powerful to serve God. He helps us to love God and other people. And he helps us to control ourselves properly."

Ecclesiastes 11:9 (AMP) - "Rejoice, young man, in your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant in the days of your young manhood. And walk in the ways of your heart and in the desires of your eyes, but know that God will bring you into judgment for all these things."

1 Peter 5:7 (ESV) - "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Psalms 119:9 (ESV) - "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word."

Genesis 4:7 (ESV) - If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.

Titus 2:6 (AMP) - "In a similar way urge the young men to be sensible and self-controlled and to behave wisely [taking life seriously]."

By all means, add to this list because the Bible is full of instruction, wisdom, and guidance for the entire family.
